In a recent meeting in Beijing, Greece's Minister of Rural Development and Food, Lefteris Avgenakis, and Zhao Zenglian, the Chinese vice minister of the General Administration of Customs, expressed a mutual intention to resolve export barriers for Greek agricultural products to China.
The discussions focused on enabling the export of a variety of Greek products including cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines, apricots, citrus fruits, grapes, strawberries, and apples. Additionally, forthcoming signatures on two cooperation protocols in the fisheries sector were announced, which will facilitate the export of all wild fish catches and related products from Greece to China.
