Fresh Del Monte is going to start producing and selling own-branded soft fruit in Italy. During the Third Small Fruits and Strawberry Symposium to be held in Marsala on July 11th, the company will meet its network of producers, and will also introduce their investment plan.
The Marsala Symposium will take place at the "A...Piccoli Frutti" company. The Sicilian event will also feature an institutional stand at the national Macfrut fair in Rimini for its official national launch, followed by a day of conferences and visits to the greenhouses of the hosting company in Marsala.
"The choice of Del Monte Italia to invest in the Marsala area is certainly very important news because it could trigger a productive chain of high qualitative value".
"In recent years, Del Monte Italia" explains Gianluigi Bertelli, senior sales manager of the company "has appreciated the growing and thriving industry of small fruits in this region. We approach this reality with enthusiasm, and we are eager to collaborate with Sicilian small fruit producers to bring their products to the global market. We are committed to ensuring that every product we bring to the market is grown with care and respect for the environment, reflecting the values of sustainability and responsibility that are at the heart of our corporate philosophy. With Del Monte, it's not just about selling products, but about building long-lasting partnerships based on trust and mutual growth".
