The North Caucasus Interregional Department of the Federal Service Rosselkhoznadzor has monitored the export of 30.6 tons of fresh mushrooms from Stavropol Krai, Russia from January to April 19, 2024. The products were dispatched from the Georgievsk district.
Of this total, 4.7 tons of mushrooms were sent to Armenia, while 25.9 tons were destined for Georgia. It's noteworthy that the export of fresh mushrooms occurred for the first time since 2019.
Rosselkhoznadzor conducted a sampling of the products and sent them to its subordinate laboratories for laboratory tests to establish their quarantine phytosanitary condition. The mushrooms must be free from pests such as the Megaselia scalaris, Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande, and Thrips palmi Karny.
It has been determined that the products met the necessary phytosanitary requirements of the importing countries.
