The 2024 edition of medFEL took place last week. After a great start, the second day was disrupted by the air traffic controllers' strike, forcing many participants to leave the event early. Turnout was good in the morning, but only very few visitors were left in the afternoon.
The event was packed with new features, including job dating organized by MedEmploi, and a growing number of exhibitors, many of whom were there for the first time. With a redesigned layout, the program was filled with conferences, apricot harvest forecasts and melon planting. A new feature this year were the plum crop forecasts for the first time at the Perpignan Exhibition Centre.
