"Italy: "Greece competitor for Hayward kiwis"

So far, the demand for early kiwis produced from Piedmontese company Gullino has been good. Prices have dropped slightly in the past two weeks but quality is excellent.

"The volumes of Hayward are probably more abundant than in the past two seasons and average prices are slightly lower," explains sales manager Armando Peirone.

For what concerns competition from Greece, he says that "there was little competition during the early campaign, but we think things will change in November as Greek Haywards will become available."

This year, Gullino will attend Fruit Attraction (Madrid, 28-30 October 2015) for the first time, in Hall 7, Stand 7B09A. Sales managers Armando Peirone and Saverio Principiano will welcome visitors.

"We will be co-exhibitors within ICE (Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies). We have visited the fair twice and now attending as an exhibitor was the logical thing to do, especially considering the importance that the Spanish market holds for us."
