Mexico exports berries to more than 70 countries

"We export 90% of our total production to more than 70 countries," said Aldo Mares, Berrymex' Vice President of Operations for Central Mexico. Currently, they export their stock, which includes raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry to countries in Europe, the US, the Middle East, Asia, and they also have a market in Mexico.

Berrymex's main product is the raspberry, which has the biggest demand in most of the countries they work with. However, it is not the preferred berry in Mexico. In order of preference, the Mexican market prefers strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries, which is the newest berry grown in Mexico and which has shown a considerable growth in recent years.
