These courgette plants have a robust stem, so much so that a support is only needed to guide the growth.

Logos has a good ratio between plant development and internode distance. Combined with the characteristic leaf stalk development, this enables the fruit to be visible, so no courgettes are left on the plant because they are hidden by the leaves.

This is an extraordinary advantage if we consider that it cuts down on harvesting time, leading to lower costs.

Fruits are bright green with a constant diameter along all the length. They have a good flavour and are therefore suitable for all kinds of dishes. The regular shape means they are suitable for longitudinal cuts.

One important aspect is their resistance to the main courgette diseases such as Oidium, WMV and ZWMV (moderate/medium resistance).
"Another important factor is their tolerance to abiotic stresses such as the cold temperatures," reported Syngenta Technical Crop Advisor Ciro Santoro.
Many local producers took part. Syngenta technicians guided visitors through the various tunnels explaining the variety's characteristics and answering all the question with extreme courtesy and professionalism.
Andrea Cappello, owner of the company, contributed greatly to the success of the event.
