Produce Pay launches Marketplace featuring Blue Book scores

Produce Pay, a financing solution for growers and distributors of fresh produce, is pleased to announce the launch of the Produce Pay Marketplace. Buyers and sellers, for the first time, can now complete real-time trades of perishable agricultural products through an online marketplace. “We listened to our clients and invested heavily to deliver this platform dedicated to the fresh produce trade,” said Pablo Borquez Schwarzbeck, CEO of Produce Pay Inc.

As part of the launch, Produce Pay is honored to become a Registered Developer with Blue Book Services, Inc. “Blue Book is the gold standard for sellers and buyers of fresh produce,” said Steve Poindexter, Chief Commercial Officer of Produce Pay Inc. A vital element of the Produce Pay Marketplace is the licensed use of Blue Book Services data, including Blue Book Scores to help users evaluate potential buyers and sellers in the Produce Pay Marketplace.

“We welcome Produce Pay as a Registered Developer,” said Mark Erickson, Senior Vice President of Blue Book Services. “As technology expands the methods by which fresh produce is transacted, we understand that produce professionals benefit from innovative credit solutions. The integration of Blue Book Scores with the Produce Pay Marketplace is a useful complement to the suite of content, analytics, and tools now available via Blue Book Online Services.”

As technology continues to drive change in commerce, Produce Pay and Blue Book Services are pleased to provide tools that support the business of buying and selling fresh fruits and vegetables.
