New veggie bowl product launched with protein

Wholesale Produce Supply has launched a new line of plant-based protein veggie bowls under the Nora and Ashley brand. The new flavors include: Mediterranean, Tuscan, Southwest, and Sriracha. Bowls contain a spice sachet and one of the following plant proteins: chickpeas, black beans, or red kidney beans.

Wholesale Produce Supply said it partnered with culinary professionals to create the new flavor profiles for the plant-based protein veggie bowls. “We found that consumers are seeking out good flavor, high protein, and convenience,” said Reed Sibet, vice president of sales and marketing at Wholesale Produce Supply. “We created these veggie bowls with a flavorful punch to continue to stay on top of the flavor trend.”

In addition to launching the new veggie bowls, the brand has created new packaging for the seasoned veggie plates. “We’ve seen great success of the brand and expanded assortment.” said Sibet. “There’s a need now to create clearer differentiation for consumers between the Original Plates, Seasoned Plates, and Veggie Bowls. The new packaging looks sharp and allows us to highlight the freshness of our vegetable noodles and vegetable rices.”

Nora and Ashely veggie bowls and plates can currently be found in retailers in the Midwest.
