After a historically weak year, this year's apple harvest in Europe is expected to be very high, with almost 12,6 million tons (+36% in comparison with last year). Eight million tons are going to market as fresh apples. Pink Lady Europe is predicting a harvest of 195.000 tons of Pink Lady apples (+9% compared to last year) with equal sizes and high sugar content.
This season's goals are clear: consolidation of the good results of the previous season, consolidation of the trade marketing, and the optimization of their advertising campaigns. The continuation of the strategy, based on conquering the market, commitment, and reputation, making the sale of 275 000 tons of these apples in 2025.
Pink Lady at the Fruit Attraction trade show
In anticipation of the first apples expected at the end of October, Pink Lady will be present at the international trade fair, Fruit Attraction in Madrid from 23 to 25 October 2018. They will be at stand number 10G01 in Hall 10.
