According to the BSZ, (association for social and civil rights), and Gropper Köpe lawyers, the former directors of the bankrupt German company Cargofresh AG misled investors. The main business plan, the CA technique, was flawed to the last. The company could not earn any money and people knew from the start that the company was not economically viable. Duped customers feel cheated.
CA technology was built on the premise of a special cooling system which, for example, would enable freshly harvested soft fruits from far away countries to be kept fresh for weeks during transportation to Europe, through the extraction of oxygen, which would improve the product quality. Unfortunately Cargofresh AG was never able to get the technique ready for the market.
