Richard Avery of Absolute Finest Produce in Brazil has been talking about his experiences using tacler. Absolute Finest Produce work with growers and importers, to ensure a supply of high quality fruits and vegetables.
Richard joined tacler in June 2011, after receiving an invitation from tacler’s André van de Wiel. His business partner, Roberta Moretti is also a member of tacler.
Richard now visits the site on a daily basis and says the site is very good as a networking tool. "tacler has put me in touch with many contacts, both personal and professional. Not only have I met new friends, but I have also established new clients as a result of using the site, which has increased the turnover of our company."
He says that tacler stands out from the social networking sites as it is more focused. "For me tacler is more clearly a business tool and, as it is dedicated to the industry, getting meaningful communications with appropriate contacts becomes much easier than it is on more generalised sites."
He further said that the way the site is laid out is very practical, enabling members to use it for a diverse range of purposes.
"I can use the site to engage in open dialogue with many people via the forum, which is great for sharing and receiving information. However, if I need a more private, one to one discussion to organise a deal for example, then tacler also provides me with the facilities for this."
