Global Industry Analysts report:

Fruit juice sector set for growth

Global Industry Analysts have announced a report on the fruit and vegetable juice market. They forecast that the market for fruit and vegetable juices will reach 72.79 billion litres by 2017. The growth in the industry is primarily expected to be driven by a rising trend for healthy drinks amongst consumers. Key growth areas are expected to be organic, superfruit and 100% natural fruit juices.

New entrants to the market are already piling in, but this is expected to grow. they are attracted to an industry that is already twice the value of the tea industry and much greater than the cola segment of the drinks sector.

Europe is the largest regional market for juices, though Asia-Pacific is expected to be the main region for driving growth in the industry.
