Mohamed Selim joined tacler after meeting tacler founder André van der Wiel on facebook. Since then, he comes to the website 4 to 6 times per week. The reason for the frequent visits lies mainly in a 50% sales increase compared to last year. Selim: "Every day I inform other taclers of what I can sell that day, about the current situation of Egyptian products, about current availability and about what will be available soon etc…"
"For the coming grape season, I’ve increased my sales via tacler to 8 containers per week. Perhaps even up to 10 containers per week. Destinations are The Netherlands and Russia. I also receive daily information about the prices and status of markets out there and I start learning more about the serious buyers in tacler. New companies and people keep joining tacler on a daily basis, so I expect to continue to increase our sales this year. We are even thinking about appointing a second company representative in tacler at the beginning of the next season."
