The National Sweet Corn Eating Championship is set to take place this Sunday at the South Florida Fairgrounds, during the 24th Annual Sweet Corn Fiesta in West Palm Beach, Florida. Major League Eating's top competitors, including last year's champion Miki Sudo who ate 52 ears of corn in 12 minutes, will vie for the title and a slice of the $6,000 prize pool. The event, promising excitement similar to last year, will also feature live bands, a green market, and activities for children. Admission prices are modest, and corn will be sold in boxes for those not attending.
