For the first ten months of the current year, Uzbekistan imported 544,000 tons of potatoes worth $45.8 million, as reported by the State Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.
Kazakhstan emerged as the primary supplier in January-October this year, providing almost three-quarters of the potato imports. During the same period, Pakistan supplied the republic with 70,000 tons, and Kyrgyzstan with 57,000 tons.
