A more committed 2023 edition

Large attendance for the first morning of medFEL

The 2023 edition of medFEL opened its doors at the exhibition center of Perpignan on Wednesday, April 26th. The attendance was good on the first morning for the opening of the event. For two days, professionals of the fruit and vegetable sector will have the opportunity to meet and attend some 25 conferences and round tables, including the much anticipated harvest predictions for apricots and melons. In total, about 230 exhibitors will be present this year. Food sovereignty will be at the heart of this 2023 edition, intended to be “more committed than ever.”

This year, medFEL aims to bring together exhibitors who are 100% committed to approaches that meet consumer expectations: High Environmental Value (HEV), Zero Pesticide Residue, sustainable, responsible and certified production, among others. The objective is also to enable companies to anticipate market developments and give them the key to meet societal expectations. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to share and discuss the latest knowledge on environmental preservation, soil conservation and biodiversity. Innovative products, alternatives to plastics, renewable energy solutions and initiatives for circular economy will also be presented. Finally, all the positive initiatives implemented in the fruit and vegetable sector will be highlighted.

medFLOR: cut flowers for the first time at medFEL
medFEL is welcoming a new sector for the first time this year: the B2B sector of cut flowers bringing together 100% committed players (medFLOR). This new offer claims a specific positioning and echoes consumer trends, marked by the purchase of labeled flowers, grown without pesticides, within an eco-responsible approach.
