Both nations intent on reducing carbon emissions

Kenya to export more fresh produce to the Netherlands by sea

The Netherlands is Kenya's third largest export market. Now, the two countries have indicated they want to mitigate climate change effects within their mutual trade. Over 100 Dutch companies are operating in Kenya, an indicator of the European country's trust and confidence in Kenya's political and economic system.

Now, Kenya and The Netherlands are in the process of implementing the Cool Logistics Corridor, a project that will see Kenyan fresh produce is transported to the European country by sea. Through cool logistics, Kenyan goods will be transported by sea as a way of reducing emissions and pollution. This will be in line with Kenya's and The Netherlands resolve to preserve the environment and embrace clean energy.
