GOtrack

The future of farming is autonomous and precise

GOtrackĀ® technology is revolutionising modern farming with a comprehensive automation system encompassing autonomous tractor guidance, precision treatments and digital management of field operations. GOtrack is ideally suited to orchards and vineyards, with the aim of improving efficiency, reducing costs and ensuring greater safety. The autonomous driving feature allows growers to optimise treatments and supervise work remotely, resulting in cost and time savings.

More efficient farming through autonomous driving

The GOtrack technology suite incorporates an autonomous driving system, the Auto DRIVE system, which allows the tractor to operate without a driver. This is a key enabler of greater efficiency in farming operations. The system is designed for tasks such as spraying, mowing and mechanical weeding, offering high precision at both low and high speeds.

With the support of Line ASSIST, the tractor can automatically navigate between rows of vines and orchards, providing parallel and precise steering without the need to control the steering wheel. This system simplifies operations and improves the quality of work, even in complex terrain.

Smart and sustainable spraying system
The e-Spray PRO is an innovative on-board computer that sets new standards for pesticide application. The GPS technology ensures that the spraying is constant and uniform, regardless of the tractor's forward speed. The automatic activation of valve sections ensures minimal waste and maximum effectiveness of treatments.

Furthermore, the system allows for variable application rate management via high-resolution digital maps, enabling the adaptation of distribution to specific tree height and crop density requirements.

GOtrack's technology includes software packages such as VAR and PWM, designed to optimise treatments. The VAR package allows the use of digital maps to calibrate pesticide or fertiliser doses according to the position of the machine, while PWM adjusts distribution according to tree height and leaf and fruit density.

These features are based on high-resolution maps created with images from drones, satellites or other advanced technologies, ensuring uniform and targeted coverage.

Remotely controlled system and security
The remote control system enables operators to manage the tractor's driving functions remotely, eliminating the need to be in the driver's seat. This is particularly beneficial for operations such as harvesting fruit at height or installing hail nets, as it enhances safety and efficiency.

Affordable and versatile technology
The universal kits supplied by GOtrack offer advanced functionality at a competitive price point, eliminating the need for modifications to existing machinery. The system's compatibility with a range of equipment types makes it suitable for multiple configurations, ensuring flexibility and ease of implementation.

An investment for the future
GOtrack combines autonomous guidance, precise application of treatments and digital management to improve productivity and sustainability in agriculture. It can also help to offset labour shortages. The innovation was presented at Interpoma 2024 by Marcin Lis and Marcin Janus, the owners of the Polish company.

An international success story arrives to Italy GOtrack has already established a strong presence in the international market, with over 200 units distributed in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. In Italy, the first customer to adopt this technology is Carlo Lingua of Fattorie Lingua, motivated by a commitment to addressing key challenges such as sustainability, efficiency and safety in the workplace.

"We've adopted the self-driving tractor on our farms with three goals: to cut down on water and pesticide use, to make the work safer for our employees, and to promote more sustainable farming practices," says Carlo Lingua. "The system memorises the route during the first day of work and then replicates it automatically, so it's really precise and reliable. Plus, the integrated cameras, which are placed both at the front and the back, constantly monitor for obstacles, making it even safer for us to operate," says Carlo Lingua.

The GOtrack team is made up of Marcin Lis, Carlo Lingua and Marcin Janus. Carlo Lingua is the first Italian customer of the Polish company GOtrack, a pioneering developer and manufacturer of a groundbreaking driverless tractor.

This testimony not only confirms the quality of the GOtrack solution, but also highlights its role in driving innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector.
