As of 2015, the retailer will have their new 52,000 m² platform, in Marne-la-Vallée. This new platform will supply 40 or so hypermarkets and click and collect points in the East of the Ile-de-France region with large consumer products, non-alcoholic drinks and perfumes.
Certified with 2 HQE stars, Breeam Good and ISO 14 001 (like all of Barjane's creations), the platform will have 8 stocking units that are 6,000m² each as well as two structures totalling 3,000 m² for offices, social and relaxing spaces.
The location is 24 km from Paris and near to the A4 autoroute allowing easy access to the A104 and the A86. Security will be heightened on the site for heavy vehicles and an infrared security system will be installed along with security at the entrance.
This future platform will also house the Regional Direction of supply and logistics in the Ile-de-France area as well as their National Centre of Formation for logistical functions.
