Melbourne Convention Centre, 3-5 June, 2024

Tickets selling fast for Hort Connections 2024

Conference tickets for Hort Connections 2024 are selling fast as the event's program fills with expert speakers from across the Australian and international horticulture industry. This year's program boasts speakers from government and regulatory authorities, researchers, growers, agronomists, agrifinance, market analysts and many more.

Beyond the conference program, Hort Connections attendees can book a seat on four separate pre-event tours that offer unique access to businesses and facilities that are normally closed to the public. This year's tours include:

  • A tour of the Melbourne Wholesale Market, fruit and berry farms in the Yarra Valley, and lunch at a local vineyard.
  • A visit to Mornington Peninsula growers Butler Market Gardens, Peter Schreurs & Sons and Gazzola Farms.
  • A tour of a range of innovative retail settings around Melbourne
A visit to Bacchus Marsh and Werribee horticulture businesses Boomaroo Nurseries, Tripod Farmers and Boratto Farms – SOLD OUT.

"Our Farm and Retail Tours are an opportunity for attendees to get a look inside the businesses of key players in the horticulture industry that would otherwise be inaccessible," said AUSVEG National Manager – Events and Partnerships Nathan McIntyre.
"Tickets for the Hort Connections Farm and Retail Tours are limited, and in previous years they have been booked to capacity well before the event, so we encourage anyone who's interested in attending to secure their ticket soon."

The Hort Connections 2024 schedule is shaping up as an action-packed program, once the doors open at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 3 June.
The conference will kick off with the Perfection Fresh Breakfast, an eagerly-awaited networking breakfast sponsored by major fruit and vegetable grower Perfection Fresh.
"This year's Perfection Fresh Breakfast will be headlined by our keynote speaker Lucy Bloom, the former CEO of Sunrise Cambodia and Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia," said Mr McIntyre.

"The Perfection Fresh Breakfast is always very well attended, and is a fantastic way to dive into the three days of networking and learning that Hort Connections offers." Bookending the event is the Hort Connections Gala Dinner, which this year is proudly sponsored by vegetable grower, Fresh Select. Offering amazing food as well as the presentation of the Horticulture Awards for Excellence 2024, this event is always a must attend.

The Hort Connections 2024 program includes all this and much more, and tickets for limited seat events like the Farm and Retail Tours and Gala Dinner are selling quickly. Hort Connections 2024 tickets are available at www.hortconnections.com.au/registration/
