The Washington apple crop continues to pick up momentum as the season progresses. CMI Orchards, LLC reports that the crop, marked by outstanding eating quality, color, and condition, continues to increase in velocity each month—even with a bit of a slower start.
CMI will exhibit its branded varieties and organics it has available year-round. Canada is an extremely important market for CMI, and the timing for CPMA, held in Vancouver April 23-25, couldn't be any better. Springtime is when the domestic Canadian crop winds down and retailers start looking to Washington to fill their apple needs. CMI also plans to meet with its Canadian retail partners and highlight what it can supply throughout the summer.
CMI will be at the show discussing its apple, pear, and cherry commodities.
Among the varieties it will show, Ambrosia Gold® will be highlighted at the company's booth, #1051. This variety has become a mainstay for Canadian retailers through summertime—and CMI will have the organic counterpart this year to round the season off. Other highlights will include JUICI®, with its eye-popping color and intense flavor, Envy™, Jazz™, and Kanzi®, as well as its expanded pear offerings.
However, what CMI looks most forward to at CPMA is spending time one-on-one with its retail partners, connecting with other innovative and cutting-edge members of the community, and enjoying an action-packed event filled with great conversations.
