Another company exhibiting at the 15th edition of Fruit Attraction 2023 was NSG, a research and testing company active in the strawberry and small fruit sector. For the Italian company, this is the fourth year in a row that it has participated in this important international event. As a partner of the Andalusian association Freshuelva, Nova Siri Genetics was present in Hall 9. The company was joined by the main Spanish operators in the strawberry and small fruit sector, namely nurseries, producers and exporters of strawberries from the Huelva region.
"This edition has has confirmed our expectations in terms of networking with different operators in the supply chain," says Carmela Suriano, the company's EMEA Director. There were many meetings held with Spanish and international operators interested in our breeding program, some of which we believe could lead to developing future partnerships."

According to the manager, compared to last year's edition, there was a large and qualified presence at the event, with an increase of about 10% in the number of participants. "The presence of growers and nurserymen from the Maghreb and North African countries, with whom we are strengthening business relationships in order to internationalize our business, is very important to NGS."
Joaquín Domínguez, NSG's Technical Manager for Spain and North Africa, explains, "Fruit Attraction comes at an important time for our strawberry licensees and growers. Having completed the commercialization of strawberry plugs, nurserymen are now sending NSG's fresh varieties to the main Mediterranean production areas. Production is expected to start in the last weeks of this year, with good quality nursery stock and planting to be completed in the last week of October."
