"We will be present in Germany in large numbers"

"This year, unlike in the past, we went beyond the mere idea of business and services. We decided to take advantage of the Berlin trade fair to present the concept of 'Sicily in the World.' We were driven by the idea that it is impossible to separate the two, since companies are born and develop in their place of origin," says Romina Roccasalvo, sole director of Next to business, a service provider for fruit and vegetable companies.

“The growth of a company can only be the result of the growth of the territory, and vice versa. That is why we are going to bring a piece of Sicily to the fair. We are sure it will be a success. How is this project going to be implemented? First and foremost, through the organization of workshops at the NTB stand on two main topics that will involve the companies and their territories: logistics and transport - farmers and relations with the large-scale retail buyers."

"At NTB's stand, we will be meeting with logistics professionals and government agencies, national and international farmers and buyers, and national and international operators and institutional representatives," Roccasalvo added. We'll try to understand how farms can be part of the large-scale distribution industry, what the necessary requirements (certifying, licensing, internal structuring...) look like, and what dynamics are at play." The producers present at the fair will be able to take part in the event and intervene in order to understand the existing trends and the evolution of the market."

"On the other hand, in the field of logistics, the directors/CEOs of several national and international companies will meet with the authorities and institutional representatives," explains the director. "We will have a look at the main challenges of the sector and a discussion on possible solutions. Another important aspect will undoubtedly be the typical Sicilian cuisine, with the participation of several regional chefs who will be preparing products such as pizza and arancini, with demonstrations of food preparation techniques and tips. The main characters will, of course, be our territories. Their landscapes will be constantly displayed on the stand's LED screens. In short, the NTB stand will try to convey all the authenticity of Sicily and all the know-how that our island has to offer."
