Agro Sun for Agricultural Industry Company has inked a deal to export frozen fruits and vegetables to the United States. This follows the company's successful three-decade history of exporting fresh produce to Europe and its recent foray into frozen goods in 2019.
The company's CEO, Mohammed Shoaib, revealed that their factory annually exports about 10,000 tons of frozen produce. Shoaib explained that Agro Sun's move into frozen goods manufacturing was a response to increased European demand.

Agro Sun's product range includes artichokes and green beans, with an annual export of around 5,000 tons of artichokes. The company also exports approximately 1,500 tons of frozen strawberries, broccoli, and cauliflower.
Shoaib highlighted Agro Sun's plans to increase its frozen strawberry exports, a product in which Egypt is a global leader. He also noted that the majority of their exports are destined for the European Union, including countries such as England, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
Shoaib revealed that Agro Sun also exports around 3,000 tons of grapes annually, along with 6,000 tons of fresh artichokes, 500 tons of fresh strawberries, and its distinctive crop, kabocha. He also noted the company's plans to break into the American and African markets.
