Expo mango 2024 in the Dominican Republic

Minister of Agriculture Limber Cruz inaugurated Expo Mango 2024 in Baní, the Dominican Republic, aiming to highlight the region's ecotourism and the economic importance of mango production. The event is expected to contribute significantly to the country's economy, with mango exports projected to reach $50 million.

The expo includes tastings, discussions, and training to advance knowledge in mango cultivation. Technical sessions are scheduled at the Manuel de Jesús Perelló Auditorium, featuring contributions from the National Mango Board (NMB) of the United States. Key participants at the launch included Engineer Rafael Leger, Gisela Taveras, José Luis Arias, and Roselin Díaz, underscoring the event's focus on boosting food production, security, and export, alongside fulfilling local demand.
