Egypt exported 45,000 tons of strawberries from September 2023 to February 2024

Egypt's agricultural sector exported 45 thousand tons of strawberries, valued at $129 million, in the six months from September 2023 to February 2024. These exports accounted for 2 percent of the total volume and 6 percent of the value of Egypt's agricultural exports of vegetables and fruits, which totalled approximately 2.82 million tons and were worth about $2 billion. The primary destinations for these exports were Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Britain.
