From January to May 2024, Uzbekistan reported exports of 722,100 tons of fruits and vegetables, valued at US$420.1 million, according to the State Statistics Committee's preliminary data. This represents a 10.4% increase in volume, equivalent to 68,300 tons, compared to the same timeframe in 2023.
The primary export destinations included Russia, accounting for 32.7% of the total exports, followed by Pakistan (19.7%), Kazakhstan (15.3%), and China (7.8%).
