The Fruit Attraction 2024 in Madrid is now over. While there was general satisfaction with the first two days, the last day was again tame. In general, a nice crowd at an ever-expanding fair, that's how it was described. The Dutch and Flemish pavilions were located next to each other in hall 6 and this was experienced as positive. Especially with the French pavilion in the hall, it was not a big step for (potential) customers to walk by. The pavilions went well, but after noon on Thursday the majority seemed to have had enough and the dismantling started. All in all, however, people looked back with satisfaction on 3 days in Madrid, where the FreshPlaza and AGF team were once again present for a photo report.

The exhibitors indicated that they were particularly satisfied with the quality of the conversations during the fair. Moreover, the rainy weather forced visitors into the halls, which improved the experience. For example, the Dutch and Belgians indicated that they were satisfied with the fair. The international character of the fair and the timing, which is favorable for many products, certainly play a role in this. And this year the French organized another event with "Olympicnic" - with tastings, fairs and even games, as a reference to the Olympic Games. Visitors could play miniature golf and basketball.
The Spanish exhibitors say that there may have been more visitors on the first day, but that the quality of the second day was better. Interestingly, none of the Spanish exhibitors complained about this year's edition of Fruit Attraction, everyone seemed very happy with how everything went. The Arab and North African exhibitors noted that the fair was starting to cool down after a busy and enthusiastic first day, but the Italians experienced a very busy second day. However, all the different halls agreed that the last day was the quietest, where the last conversations could take place and the past edition could be discussed.
