In the first nine months of 2024, Azerbaijan's import of fruits and vegetables reached 256,644 tons, amounting to $195.802 million, as reported by the State Customs Committee. This marks an increase of 27.8% in volume and 11.7% in value compared to the same period in the previous year. These imports constituted 1.34% of Azerbaijan's total import volume.</p>
Conversely, the country exported 439,161 tons of fruits and vegetables, valued at $458.798 million, during the same timeframe. This represents a decrease of 2.5% in volume and 5.1% in value from the previous year. The exports of fruits and vegetables accounted for 2.31% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
