Plum export volume from Uzbekistan decreased

From January to September this year, Uzbekistan exported 32,300 tons of plums worth 25.9 million US dollars.

According to the data from the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency, the volume of plum exports decreased by 34.9% compared to the same period last year (43,600 tons from January to September 2022).

It is noted, that from January to September 2023, Uzbekistan exported 1.4 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth 1 billion US dollars. This indicator increased by 7.6% compared to the same period last year (1.3 million tons in January-September 2022).

The export of fruits and vegetables accounted for 5.3% of Uzbekistan's total export volume.

Russia became the largest importer of agricultural products from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 618,900 tons worth 467.3 million US dollars.
