Andrea Francesconi of Graziani Packaging takes stock of the 'Territorio Aguacate' fair

The avocado world has gathered in Colombia

A busy two-day trade fair dedicated to avocados is taking place in Medellin, Colombia, on 27 and 28 November. The entire avocado supply chain is attending 'Territorio Aguacate', which features 140 exhibitors from 20 countries, including Italy. Andrea Francesconi, export manager of Graziani packaging, talked about the first day of the fair.

Andrea Francesconi

"It was busy, and I am pleased with the contacts we made. Just like other European exhibitors, we are part of the stand of the local distributor Talsa. Avocados are one of the most important crops in Colombia, a supply chain that involves many companies and operators. Mexico and Peru are the other countries where this crop is very important."

Francesconi continues: "Graziani Packaging has been present on the Colombian market since 2021 and growth has since been in triple figures, so we are very satisfied."

The event ends today, 28 November. The organisers of 'Territorio Aguacatè' write that "We facilitate meaningful connections that allow participants to stay in tune with global changes, trends and opportunities. We showcase the latest innovations and technological solutions specifically designed to promote productivity, efficiency and sustainability in the avocado industry. And we strengthen the avocado industry by providing a space for the exchange of ideas, experiences and best practices between all players in the industry."
