Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable exports grow by 30 percent

Uzbekistan has significantly increased its exports of fruits and vegetables, reaching US$1.4 billion over the past 11 months. According to the Statistics Agency, this is a 30% increase over the same time last year.

Russia remains the largest importer of Uzbekistan's agricultural products, accounting for 42.1% of total exports. Other key buyers include Kazakhstan (12.7%), Pakistan (12.6%), Afghanistan (8%), and China (6.6%).

The top exported products were grapes, with sales amounting to $174.7 million, peaches at $96.9 million and onions at $65.6 million.
