Uzbekistan's Bonaf interested in supplying berries from Kyrgyzstan for freeze-dried products

The Bonaf factory, located in the Tashkent region, is considering purchasing berries from Kyrgyzstan for the production of freeze-dried products, according to the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan.

The trade representatives held talks with the factory's management, where Bonaf expressed interest in the high quality of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan. The factory is looking into importing both frozen and fresh berries from its neighboring country.

Every year, Kyrgyzstan exports thousands of tons of raspberries and strawberries, as well as grapes, currants, cherries, and sweet cherries to international markets.

Bonaf specializes in producing freeze-dried products made from fruits and vegetables, which are used as snacks or added to meals.

Last year, factories in Uzbekistan produced 10,000 tons of peach juice.
