De Mooij Amsterdam offers semi-dried tomatoes from Sicily under its Fino Fresco brand. "While sun-dried tomatoes are completely dried to remove all their water content, semi-dried tomatoes are taken off the heat before they are fully dried. As a result, the tomato retains a juicy texture," explains Danny de Mooij.
"Besides baby leaf and vegetables, this is a specialty in our private label range and also a great addition for combination use. This product is therefore very popular in shops and within the catering industry," Danny adds.
The semi-dried tomatoes are packaged in a 6 x 1kg box. Promotions for this item will be available for the next two weeks.
