Afghanistan's Ministry of Industry and Commerce reports fresh fruit exports valued at over $143 million in the first 11 months of the fiscal year. Ministry spokesperson Akhundzada Abdulsalam Jawad informed Bakhtar News Agency that approximately 296,000 metric tons of fresh fruits were distributed to various international markets in this timeframe.

Key export destinations included Pakistan, India, the UAE, China, the UK, the Netherlands, the U.S., France, Australia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. The main fruits exported were apples, pomegranates, grapes, fresh figs, apricots, cherries, mulberries, peaches, strawberries, melons, and watermelons.

Despite economic challenges, Afghanistan's agricultural sector maintains its presence in global markets, sustaining its position as an exporter of fresh produce.
