Israeli mango exports continued to grow in 2024, reaching a volume of 16,400 tons, an increase of 14% compared to 2023 (14,400 tons). This growth is due to the expansion of existing orchards and the entry of new growers. The sector is increasingly focusing on international markets, including Russia and several European countries, to boost sales.
In addition to growing exports, domestic consumption is also rising. In 2024, Israeli consumers ate a record amount of mangoes: 43,000 tons, an 18% increase from the previous year. The average consumption per person now stands at 4 kg per year.
Despite challenges, the Israeli mango sector continues to develop, with exports as the key driver of further growth.
