Zabaikalsk customs adopts frozen fruit imports from China

In February 2025, the customs post at the Zabaikalsk International Road Checkpoint processed its first major batch of frozen fruits and berries imported from China. According to the press service of Chita Customs, the total volume of imported products reached 1,863 tons, accounting for 9% of all fruit imports during this period.

The imported assortment includes a wide range of frozen fruits and berries, such as pears, apples, mangoes, kiwis, blueberries, strawberries, apricots, chestnuts, raspberries, and sea buckthorn. In total, 95 shipments were cleared, with a total value of 23.2 million yuan (€2.95 million).

The imported products are intended not only for sale within the Zabaykalsky Krai but also for further transportation to other regions across Russia.
