Tula region

German investor to build potato processing factory in Russia

The new factory will be specialising in production of potato crisps. All raw materials for processing will be purchased from local producers of vegetables.

Thus, the areas for potato cultivation in the region are to be increased up to 1,000 hectares. Besides this, three breeding farms are to start production of seed potatoes in 2015.

In the end of October, the German experts will arrive in Tula to visit the industrial areas in several districts of the region.
