“Panzhihua is one of the most suitable areas for domestic mango production. The Panzhihua mango has outstanding quality, a delicate taste and is nutrient-rich and eco-friendly. The sugar content is 1%-3% higher than that of other mango varieties in other producing areas. Known as "China's best late-maturing mango", it has been well received by consumers in the domestic and overseas markets for many years," claimed Mr. Wu Mingwu of Panzhihua Jiumangyouguo Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
“This is mainly due to the high altitude, tropical and subtropical areas of Panzhihua. The temperature is high, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the sunshine is sufficient and it is frost-free for most of the time. The annual rainfall is abundant. This provides a unique natural market advantage for the growth of mango and the listing timing. The Panzhihua late-maturing mangoes mature in September-October, and enter the market more than 1-2 months later than other domestic mango producing areas."
“We have jointly planted and managed more than 8,000 acres of mango orchards with Panzhihua Rural Cooperatives. Among them, 500 mu of organic certification, 3,000 mu of green certification, and 2000 mu of export filing bases, with standardized planting technology training schools. In the domestic market, the '9mang brand', which was established last year, along with other Panzhihua mangoes and other national specialty agricultural products are sold throughout the country through large wholesale markets and various e-commerce platforms in Beijing, Shenyang, Jiaxing, etc. We have many years of experience in export to Canada. On the basis of this, we exported mango to Russia for the first time this year. Once on the market, we received good feedback from the Russian side. In the future, while stabilizing the development of existing markets, we hope to open more overseas markets."
