“Rational regulation of shipments help Egypt's oranges in China's market”

“This year, the Egyptian navel orange season kicked off in December, and the harvest of Valencia Oranges will start in two weeks. It is estimated that the export supply period to China will last for 5-6 months. In terms of total production, it is basically the same as last year.” James from Forwell Import & Export Co., Ltd. said.

“A few years ago, the sales of Egyptian oranges in the Chinese market were very hot. The high commercial profits made many Chinese importers carry out a large number of centralized purchases. This directly led to the oversupply of Egyptian orange in the Chinese market last year. Prices have been suppressed to a continuous low level, and both traders and growers have suffered enormous losses. Therefore, we believe that Chinese importers should think rationally when purchasing this season, and do not blindly import in large quantities. "

"This year, in order to avoid repeating the same mistakes, on the one hand, we have rationally regulated the delivery process and distributed the right amount of Egyptian oranges to different regional markets in China. On the other hand, in addition to exporting to China, we also export Egyptian orange to Russia. In countries such as Germany, according to the demand characteristics of each market, we will maintain a good balance in the volume of shipments. When necessary, we will not rule out the allocation of some plans to China to other markets."
At this stage, our Egyptian oranges are mainly exported to China's primary wholesale markets, such as the Guangzhou Jiangnan Wholesale Market and the Shanghai Huizhan Wholesale Market. Judging from the current situation, the quality and prices of Egyptian oranges arriving in the Chinese market this year are still good. In the future, while steadily developing the existing market, we hope to expand our influence in South China and look for importers who can work together under the buy-out cooperation model. ”
