BerryWorld®, The Netherlands and Beekers Berries B.V. have operated in a fast-paced and ever-changing market, which has led to enormous growth for the two berry businesses. The appetite from the consumer for high quality soft fruit, and with it, the demand from customers across the whole of Europe has risen sharply in recent years. The prediction is that this upward trend will continue steadily into the future.
To continue to meet the growing demand for high quality soft fruit, the business will not only grow in an agronomical sense, but in a constructional one as well. BerryWorld, The Netherlands and Beekers Berries have been granted a permit and in mid-February 2019 building will commence resulting in the creation of a new business premises measuring 16.000 m². The new site will provide office, storage and processing facilities and will be delivered in accordance with the highest level of BREEAM sustainability standards, rated as ‘Outstanding’.
Construction of the new office is forecast for completion by April 2020.
