"Tainong mangoes sell well in Chinese market, especially in the second half of the season"

This is the time of year when mangoes from Yuanjiang in Hunan enter the Chinese market. The overall price is not bad. At the same time, however, imported mangoes from various countries also enter the market. Market demand is still strong. Mr. Lin of Beijing Lin Family Yijia Trade Center gave his view on the mango market: "The price of Chinese mangoes is relatively stable this year. Price fluctuations remain within acceptable limits. The mango variety is quite good. The production season of mangoes from Vietnam and from various production areas in China began 20 days earlier than last year. The main reasons for this development are as follows: first, many farmers suffered financial losses in the last stage of the trade season. Many farmers therefore decided not to leave late-season flowers on the trees. Second, the mango price is quite good this year and the trade volume is relatively large."

"There are many mango production areas in China. The main production areas are located in four provinces. The mangoes from Hainan entered the market around November. These are the earliest domestic mangoes on the market. The mango production areas in Panzhihua, Sichuan, are the last to finish their production season, also in November every year. The overall mango supply to the domestic market therefore continues all year round. The price of mangoes is relatively high in November. This is also the time of the year when mangoes from Vietnam enter the market. The price of Vietnamese mangoes is lower than the price of Chinese mangoes. Consumers therefore prefer to buy Vietnamese mangoes. However, this does not affect the overall sales volume of Chinese mangoes. The main reason for this situation is the difference in product variety, flavor, and fruit weight between the mangoes from Vietnam and China."

"We predict that the Chinese market demand for mangoes will remain strong. This situation is not difficult to understand, the import volume of mangoes is still enormous. The most popular product variety this year is the Tainong mango. Their sales volume is especially large in the second half of the season. This is the result of great flavor and a low price when the Tainong mangoes entered the market early."
