USDA: 2019 mushrooms report highlights

US volume of mushroom sales down 3 percent from last season

According to a USDA report on mushroom sales, the volume of sales for the 2018-2019 mushroom crop totaled 846 million pounds, down 3 percent from last season. The value of the sales for the 2018-2019 mushroom crop was $1.13 billion, down slightly from the previous season for comparable states.

The average reported price was $1.34 per pound, up 3 cents from the previous year’s price for comparable states.
