"The seedless lychee is one of the more expensive lychee varieties in the Chinese market. Production areas in Hainan, Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guangdong all grow this variety. Our seedless lychee come from Guangdong. The first harvest of this year will enter the Chinese market on the 15th of June. Supply will continue until the end of the month." Farmers harvest lychee
"Everybody knows that lychee production areas in China will enjoy an abundant harvest this year. The price is expected to fall far below the price levels of last year, especially when the lychee enter the market in large volumes. However, the seedless lychee is a unique variety and the price is therefore expected to remain stable this year. The price of one box (2.5 kg) is around 246-1,198 yuan [34.73-169.13 USD] depending on size and product quality."
