Exsa Europe develops the late Egyptian grape season

"New varieties like Arra 30 and Arra 29 doing well at the end of the season"

In recent years, Exsa Europe has fully invested in new grape varieties from Egypt. "On our own farm, among others, we have great new varieties growing, such as Arra 30 and Arra 29. These varieties do an excellent job at the end of the season, with Egypt at the peak of taste and presentation, where Europe often sends fruit to the market too early," says Eddy Kreukniet.

"The IFG varieties are also increasingly coming into production. After the very successful introduction of Egyptian Sweet Sapphire last season, the IFG range will be expanded this year with Sweet Celebration and (limited) Sweet Globe. In week 28, the first Sweet Sapphire and Sweet Celebration are expected. Our fruit is packaged in 4.5kg paper bags or zip-locks and of course in the well-known 500g bowl, mostly under our own brand Exsa. "
