Uzbekistan exports 200 tons of apples to Novosibirsk region of Russia

According to a report from the Dunyo news agency, 198.9 tons of apples from Uzbekistan have been imported to the Novosibirsk region in Russia since early August 2020. This is almost 80 percent of all apples imported into the region from abroad.

All consignments were accompanied by phytosanitary certificates of the exporting country, according to a Rosselkhoznadzor press release. The fruits were inspected at the phytosanitary quarantine post "Karasuk" when crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, as well as when entering local markets and temporary storage warehouses.

The apples have already arrived for sale in Novosibirsk and Novosibirsk region, and are also allowed for further movement across Russian territory.
