US: Persistent dry conditions for Michigan crops

Persistent dry conditions in Michigan are causing crop conditions to deteriorate all over the State.  According to USDA reports that non-irrigated specialty crops are water-stressed.

Growers continue to harvest peaches, blueberries, sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, potatoes, and tomatoes.  Wind damage was more evident for sweet corn and peppers in the southwest region.
