"Argentina and Chile have been working together with us since the beginning of this year to expand the sales volume of Latin American agricultural products and agricultural by-products. The sales volume has already increased by 310% in comparison with the same period last year." This is according to Chen Qiu, vice-president of Pinduoduo. This company maintains the largest e-commerce platform for agricultural products in China. Pinduoduo continues to supply Chinese consumers with reasonably-priced, top-quality agricultural products from Latin America.
"We hope to work closely together with Pinduoduo and supply Chinese consumers with even more reasonably-priced, top-quality Chilean cherries." This is according to Ignacio, the Global Market Director of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX). Ignacio personally visited the Pinduoduo headquarters in Shanghai to further develop the Chinese market for Chilean fruits and vegetables.

The Chilean Fruit Exporters Association and Pinduoduo have established a strategic agreement. Both sides have agreed to work together on issues such as trade connections, market expansion, and the Pinduoduo supply chain. This cooperation will simplify the journey from farm to table and reduce the time it takes from production area to market. The strategic agreement further develops the Chilean cherry supply to the Chinese market.
The Chilean Fruit Exporters Association is the largest non-profit trade organization in Chile. The association represents more than 350 major producers and exporters of Chilean fruit. Together they account for more than 90% of the Chilean fruit export volume.

Pinduoduo has launched their "billion subsidies" program to turn Chilean cherries from an expensive fruit into a fruit available to all. Chilean cherries subsequently became the best-seller on their e-commerce platform. Pinduoduo works together with many fruit traders and continues to promote Chilean cherries among thousands of communities. Extensive promotions are expected to further grow the Chinese market share of Latin American fruits, and Chilean cherries in particular."
