New packaging to better showcase mushrooms

Fungo Cesena has introduced a new cardboard packaging solution that is resistant to humidity, has an appealing design and with all information printed on the back.

The "100% hand-cut" range in the new packaging

"We made this choice to further promote our main products. The new format is currently used only for some types of products such as packaged and wild mushrooms. It is mainly destined to the wholesale market and, therefore, to medium-high level shops," explains Giampaolo Evangelisti.

The big retail chain, especially those interested in high-quality products thanks to clients who do not just purchase based on price, welcomed this new product. The history of the company, brand characteristics, traceability information and company certifications are printed on the back.

Button mushrooms are the most popular, but trumpet and oyster mushrooms are also grown. "Button mushrooms are the main type and quality is very high. Fall temperatures are ideal for both cultivation and consumption. We also have spontaneous mushrooms, which are available until December."

"Our hand-cut range is also popular. Of course it is more expensive, yet it is quite popular. This is a service that requires more time and attention, but one we are happy to provide to our clients."
